Practice Mock Tests: To enhance speed and know where you stand in the exam, it is always a sensible decision to give practice paper a shot. This is also important to know your strengths and weaknesses. There are too many books for UGC NET exam, to sharpen you more, one can easily research online.
Avoid Negative Marking in the Main Exam: Yes, the deduction of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer can be reduced, if you focus on going all sensible and attentive about the NET exam. Often the time pressure makes the exam-taker nervous and in the end s/he end up scoring even low by randomly marking answers. The key is not to Panic. Start attempting the section you are confident in the most. Make guesses only in those questions in which you are confused only in 2 options, and knowing other two definitely being false.
Manage Time: Time management is not only imperative while you are preparing for the UGC-NET exam, but the real importance and management needs to be shown and put while attempting the exam.
